Our gift subscription option allows you to purchase a year’s worth of dispatches to be sent to a friend or family member. For more details about the dispatch contents, please refer to our main subscription page here. This subscription is a one-time, prepaid charge that will not renew at the end of the 12 month period. The recipient will receive 1 letter per month for the duration of 12 months. We’ve created a downloadable pdf, linked below, to introduce your recipient to No. 3 Post, including when to expect deliveries and how to contact us for any issues. You can print this pdf to include in an envelope for a tangible opening experience, or send it to them via email.
Since a big part of a gift is the surprise, we want to be clear on how that works. In order to keep your gift a surprise, you should enter your own email during the checkout process. This will mean that you will receive the monthly shipping notifications, rather than your recipient. Unfortunately our subscription provider doesn’t allow us to change the email after the gift has been given. You may forward these notifications to your recipient if you wish or you can ignore them. Our downloadable pdf explains when we mail each month’s letter and how long to wait before contacting us about a missing dispatch so that your recipient knows what to expect. PLEASE NOTE: if you enter your recipient’s email, they will get an immediate order confirmation once you complete your purchase.
Please note: All gift subscriptions purchased in November and December will have a first dispatch date of January. This helps us with holiday fulfillment and allows you to easily give a subscription as a Christmas present.
Checkout Instructions:
Please do not use any of the express checkout options for gift subscriptions as these will not allow you to enter your recipient’s information!
When checking out, please enter your recipient’s name and their shipping address. This information determines the name on the envelopes and where they are sent. In the Payment section, enter your card details, uncheck the box “Use shipping address as billing address” and enter your name and billing address. To keep your gift a surprise, please enter your own email. If the gift doesn’t need to be a surprise, you may enter your recipient’s email. Please note that they will receive an immediate order confirmation email as soon as you complete the purchase.

What is a gift subscription?
This option allows you to pay upfront for a year of dispatches. One letter will be sent every month. There will be a one-time charge that will not renew at the end of the year.
What if I want my gift to be a surprise?
To keep your gift a surprise, please enter your own email at checkout.
When will my recipient get their first letter?
If you purchase before the 20th of any given month, your recipient will get the next month’s dispatch. For example, if you purchase the gift subscription on March 15, your recipient will get April’s dispatch. If you purchase your subscription on March 22nd, their first letter will be May’s dispatch. However, this does not apply to gift subscriptions purchased in November and December. All gift subscriptions purchased in November and December will have a first dispatch date of January. This helps us with holiday fulfillment and allows you to easily give a subscription as a Christmas present.
Do you offer refunds?
As this is a prepaid gift subscription, we do not offer refunds. If there are any issues with the dispatches, the recipient can reach out to us at no3supply@gmail.com and we will make it right.
Why am I being charged $12 shipping?
If you are purchasing a subscription for an international recipient, we charge a $1 shipping fee for each month to cover the cost of an international stamp.
When do mailings go out?
We ship our letters at the end of each calendar month, depending on how business days fall towards the end of the month.
What if a dispatch is delayed?
We are happy to replace any dispatch that goes missing. For United States recipients, please allow 4 weeks after shipping before reaching out for a replacement. For international recipients, please allow 6 weeks after shipping before reaching out. Remember, letters are typically mailed at the end of each month. The 4-6 week shipping time starts after the letters are mailed, not when the order is placed. Please contact us at no3supply@gmail.com to request a replacement.
What if my recipient moves before their subscription year is up?
Your recipient can contact us at no3supply@gmail.com and we can change their address in our system.
How can I or my recipient get in touch about a problem or question?

We've created a pdf to introduce your recipient to the No. 3 Post. Download, print, and include it in an envelope for a tangible gift-opening experience, or send it to them as an email attachment. Your recipient will not receive this information unless you give it to them. We highly recommend providing the pdf so they know what to expect.
